Mother. Daughter. Sister. Warrior // Breast Cancer

We recently discovered that our mother will be fighting her second round of breast cancer.  After this news, as an attempt to hold her closer we decided to honor her this Mother's day with a photo shoot. Documenting her with us individually, together, with the granddaughters and if nothing else we wanted to have some wonderful portraits to cherish forever.  

As we were almost finished shooting, she asked us to do the below pose.  

Ben captured the love, support and reverence just perfectly.  

Mom has always called my sister and I, righty and lefty. 

(As if we're still feeding from her - we kinda do and probably always will)

My heart is up in my throat.

We are super hopeful.
